Come join us for the Swim with Bright Socks for Down Syndrome Awareness

 In Memory of Gage Severson

About Gage Severson:

Gage Severson was born on May 18, 2014 and taught us all how to embrace our differences and love purely. He loved life and woke up each day with a smile. With his easy-going nature and big grin, he touched many hearts. He was very involved in the community and loved to visit others whether it be at the pool, in class, or even the grocery store. Even though Gage didn't speak many words, he always had a special way of letting everyone know how much he loved them. He touched our lives with his wonder, enthusiasm, and contagious smile. Although Gage's life was short, he had a huge and positive impact on our community and we are forever grateful for him.

Please support us in celebrating and remembering this wonderful and remarkable young boy!

Our Event:

One of Gage’s favorite things to do was coming for a swim at the pool.  He had a sheer passion for swimming and fun times at the pool and came for a swim at least twice a week.  Gage won the hearts of all the lifeguards and they all looked forward to seeing him smiling and playing at the pool every week.

In memory of Gage’s joy at the pool, we invite everyone to join us in the pool for a "Twoonie Swim" with your bright and colorful socks on! The $2 entry to the event will go towards helping spread awareness, advocacy and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome, just like Gage.

We invite you to come with your bright, colorful socks or you can purchase a pair of bright socks at the event for $2.00!
